Closure of The Ribbon Falls Bridge until Mid March

The Ribbon Falls Bridge will be out of commission from February 14th until mid march as the Grand Canyon National Park repair crew works on restoring the structure. The bridge’s wooden parts including deck boards and beams have deteriorated and must be repaired for safety reasons.

Hikers will able to reach Ribbon Falls using a detour that will be clearly marked. Stepping stones just south of the bridge will be used. The wood and steal bridge is on a trail that runs from North Kaibab Trail to Ribbon Falls. It is about 6 miles north of Phantom Ranch.
