Arizona Room

Bright Angel Lodge, Grand Canyon National Park, AZ 86023 928-638-2631

Description: SOUTH RIM. Widely acclaimed for incredible sunset views of the canyon (it sits right on the South Rim), Arizona Room also satiates hungry appetites with well-prepared cuisine. An open kitchen makes the experience that much more immediate, and you'll be hard-pressed to resist a savory steak, thick cut of prime rib, or morsel of sage-scented, grilled chicken. Pork, seafood, and barbecue also appear, and many dishes have a Southwestern flair (tequila marinades, prickly pear syrups, chiles), so you can be assured of food that fits the setting. Since reservations aren't accepted, waits can be long later in the evening come early. Full bar.
