Excursions depart daily from the National Geographic Visitor Center, conveniently located on Route 64 just one mile south of the South Rim entrance to Grand Canyon National Park. Touring — 4 Hours
The Best of the Canyon
Interpretive walking/driving excursion exploring the Indian cultures, pioneer history, geological wonders, and awe-inspiring views of the Grand Canyon.
Departs from the National Geographic Visitor
Center at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon.
Times: 9:00 A.M. and 1:30 P.M. daily
Maximum Group Size: 18 people (9 persons per trip leader)
Cost per person:

Deep in the Canyon
Naturalist-led, moderate hike with historical and geological interpretations from the rim into the Canyon.
Departs from the National Geographic Visitor
Center at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon.
Time: 8:30 A.M. and 1:00 P.M. daily
Approximate Distance: 3 to 6 miles
Elevation Change: 1,100-2,000 feet
Maximum Group Size: 12 people (6 persons per trip leader)
Cost per person:

Sunset Tour — 3 Hours
Sunset on the Grand Canyon
This excursion takes you to the best vantage
points at an optimal time for capturing the canyon at sunset.
Departs from the National Geographic Visitor
Center at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon.
Times: Excursion will depart three hours prior to sunset.
Departure time will be confirmed at the time of reservation. Approximate
time is 1:30 P.M. (Sep 1 – Oct 31).
Maximum Group Size: 18 people (9 persons per trip leader)
