From landscapes and wildlife to history and adventure, what’s the one thing about the Grand Canyon that has intrigued you? Grand Canyon History!  History is a one stop shop for understanding the creation of those amazing landscapes, wildlife and subsequently, discovering a sense of adventure.

If this your first visit to the Canyon, what is motivating you to visit? If this a revisit, what’s your reason for wanting more?

The hiking. It was the reason for my first visit and also the reason for my second. I just can’t get enough of walking in the wild.

What are five things your Backpack to the Canyon must contain?

My cell phone, camera, shades, bottle of water & lip-gloss.

What according to you is the best way to get to the Grand Canyon – By Air, By Road or By Rail?

By road. On the less crowded route 89 to the Eastern entrance of the National Park. This route is studded with lil’ gems of discovery like the Cameron Trading post, Lake Powell, Horseshoe bend and Sunset crater.

What are three tips for an awesome budget trip to the Grand Canyon?

Carpool with other travelers. Hike all you can – it’s free and a great way to connect with the Canyon. Eat at the village of Tusayan – the meals are cheaper and the views, nicer.

On your travels, what would you choose a book or a camera, and why?

A camera. To visually chronicle every page of my travel chapter.

What surprised you about the Grand Canyon?

Didn’t realize that the Canyon was sooooo many colors

Yes, I did!  I picked up a few souvenirs and watched IMAX movie.  Three Words – AMAZING IMAX Experience

My name is Robin Timmons, I reside in West Hollywood CA (originally from Belize).  I’m a certified LVN.  In addition, I love to cook!   Bellyfull LA is the name that describes my goals from a healthy perspective. Giving my friends ideas on how to prepare affordable, low calorie & health recipes is rewarding.  The first ingredient is putting my HEART into it.
