From Landscapes and wildlife to history and adventure, what’s the one thing about the Grand Canyon that has intrigued you?
The horizon. It seems to be a picture, it doesn’t seem to be real! You may need few minutes to understand how wide, big or it or it could be!
If this is your first visit to Grand Canyon, what motivated you to visit? If this is a revisit, what’s your reason for wanting to come back?
Gran Canyon is a must-see place. If I will come back to Los Angeles or to a close city, I surely will go to Grand Canyon.
What are five things your Backpack to the Canyon must contain?
-A good camera (EOS Ds Mark III)
-An iPhone (to take extra photos like panorama and upload them immediately to Instagram)
-What else ? (Wallet?)
What is the best way to get to the Grand Canyon – By Air, By Road or By Rail? Why?
By car I think, I went there by car and you can see beautiful landscapes on the road.
What is travel to you in one word?
What are three tips for an awesome budget trip to the Grand Canyon?
This is an answer I can’t reply. I didn’t organized my last trip to Grand Canyon so I could not give tips.
What type of camera did you bring? Any tips on shooting the Grand Canyon?
I would bring my professional Canon EOS Ds Mark III and a secondary camera, the Canon 600d. Also I would take some pictures (panoramas, instagrams) with my iPhone 5.
Since the Gran Canyon is one of the most photographed place of the earth people need to search and to took photos of things never photographed. When I went there I tried to take original and unique photos, I photographed people taking photos to the magical landscape of Gran Canyon: that’s original. I photographed a couple admiring the Canyon, I photographed the Canyon by taking the sky for 3/4 of the photo.
What surprised you about the Grand Canyon?

I’m an italian guy of 18. I’m a student, a photographer, a traveler, a workaholic, a free rider. I visited lots of places in the world, including South Africa (two times) and NYC (five times), my favorite two places in the world.
