Native American Heritage Month at Grand Canyon
The Grand Canyon National Park has a special event planned to celebrate National Native American Heritage Month. The celebrations will include presentations and demonstrations. The event is planned for November 14th, 2013. November is recognized as National Native American Heritage Month. American Indians. Celebrations include a presentation on a new publication American Indians and the Civil War published by Eastern National, American Indian Alaska Native Tourism Association, National Park Service and the Bureau of Indian Education. The 30 minute program will take place at 10:00 a.m. in the Shrine of the Ages.
There is an evening program planned for 7:00pm at Shrine of the Ages. All are invited for an evening with cultural dancing and demonstrations.
