Ideally situated just across the road from the Grand Canyon Railway Station, the Red Garter B&B Inn in Williams, Arizona, is a place of history. A former saloon and brothel (if walls could talk…), the inn now offers lodging and a small town bakery. The two-story Victorian Romanesque building is a great place to stay before heading to the Grand Canyon and to enjoy Route 66. The history of the building, as well as the town, is very intriguing especially to those who are even the slightest bit interested in old west. The character and decor of the property is in beautiful taste and fits the antiquity of yesteryear. The Grand Canyon Railway train departs daily from across the street and the Grand Canyon is only half hour away. The inn is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
