The Grand Canyon Visitor Center & IMAX Theatre have partnered with the town of Tusayan to ensure a safer and healthier visit to the Grand Canyon. We want to ensure the safety of visitors and staff.

Covid-19 measures taken by the Grand Canyon Visitor Center:

  • – Installation of plexiglass in transaction areas
  • – Touchless debit/credit
  • – Decals on flooring to ensure social distancing at all times
  • – New staff uniforms that will be stay at the facility and washed nightly
  • – Additional staff at Food & Beverage
  • – Sanitizing stations
  • – Masks on staff members
  • – Temporarily no returns on gift shop products
  • – Staff temperature taking before shifts and no questions asked sick leave

What Tusayan is doing to ensure your safety:

  • – Implementing recommendations from the Governor, State Health Department and CDC
  • – Masks, gloves, and no-touch thermometers supplied to businesses
  • – hand washing stations, sanitizing refills, and disinfectants are on order
  • – Additional staff training and hygiene practices

What we are asking visitors to do:

  • – Stay six feet apart as much as possible
  • – Wash hands often and/or use hand sanitizer
  • – Avoid touching face and cover mouth when sneezing or coughing
