Forecasters report elevated fire danger from windy and dry weather across Arizona today April 19, 2108.

A red flag warning was issued by the National Weather Service covering southward area from the Arizona-Utah line north of the Grand Canyon in northern Arizona to almost all of southern Arizona along the U.S.-Mexico border.

The red flag warning runs from noon to 8pm tonight, with the National Weather Service reporting very dry conditions and strong gusty winds.
