Location

Built in the late 1960’s, Kachina Lodge is located on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, thus allowing for a unique experience – a night at the Grand Canyon. Many guests choose Kachina due to its prominent location in the center of the historic district. The lodge is a good starting point for exploring the area – from simple walks on the RIM Trail, which passes directly in front of the lodge, to extreme hiking on the Bright Angel Trail. Kachina Lodge is also walking distance to restaurants, gifts shops, Kolb Studio and Verkamp’s Visitor Center.
