The Grand Canyon Visitor Center inside the park (not to be confused with the Grand Canyon Visitor Center IMAX outside the South Rim gates) is CLOSED from October 6th through October 27th, 2024. The center is closed due to staff training. Trip planning and hiking information is available through permanent exhibits and sidewalk signs outside the locked building.
The Grand Canyon Visitor Center IMAX will remain OPEN during this time. The visitor center in Tusayan will continue to offer trip planning, Pink Jeep Tours, Grand Canyon: Rivers of Time in IMAX, souvenirs, dining options, and more.
The Grand Canyon Visitor Center IMAX hours of operation are:
9:00 am – 10:00 pm (March 1 – October 31)
10:00 am – 7:00 pm (November 1 – February 29)
