Testimonial: IMAX at the Grand Canyon South Rim adds to Family Vacation

My mother and father had been to the Grand Canyon several times and had been encouraging me to go for years. We planned a family vacation in our motor home and the Grand Canyon was one of our stops. We started off at the North Rim, where we camped out for one night. The next morning we headed to the South Rim. We drove around the South Rim to all the different overlooks and I was just blown away by the scenery – it was honestly some of the most beautiful sites my eyes had ever seen.
After driving around for a while, we headed to the Visitors Center where we were greeted by very courteous and informative staff members. We went ahead and saw the IMAX film, which I absolutely loved! The IMAX technology was outstanding. I felt as if I was flying around the Grand Canyon, taking in all the beauty and splendor it has to offer. I also really enjoyed learning about the history of the Grand Canyon.
After the IMAX, I went to the gift shop and bought a copy of the movie to take home with me. We then got back in the car, drove around and did as much sightseeing as we could. The most memorable part of this trip for me was just experiencing the Grand Canyon for the first time. I had no idea what to expect, and when I got there I was stunned. This trip far exceeded my expectations and I surely hope to return to the Grand Canyon sometime in the future.
