Here’s your opportunity to shed some of the pounds you may have gained over the Holiday. The snow has collected on the ground earlier than usual and the expert snow crew of Arizona Snowbowl has been working day and night to make it possible for the Snowbowl’s authorities to delightfully announce “White Friday”. White Friday is the first day of the snowboarding and skiing.

Open lifts include:

Grand Canyon winter makes the terrain perfect for skiing and riding. On Friday the Hart Prairie Lodge will open with restaurant, equipment rental shops, sports and a ski school providing lessons for people of all ages. Unique Guest services will be accessible for gift card sales and season pass pickup.
Grand Canyon’s snow has been perfectly blended with machine-made snow, combining nature with human technology, allowing the creation of a truly wonderful terrain for sports such as skiing and snowboarding. Jason Stratton, the Director of Sales and Marketing of Arizona Snowbowl says that the cold temperature and the storm allowed their snowmaking operations to continue without difficulties.
The General Manager J.R. Murray said that the snowmaking crew of the Arizona Snowbowl had worked extremely hard to make the first day of opening come true. They were able to open early because all the operations regarding the snowmaking went smoothly and according to plan.
Shred Celebration
On White Friday, a shred celebration will be hosted by Rome Snowboards in association with the staff of Arizona Snowbowl’s Sunset Terrain Parks. The Arizona Snowbowl officials said to keep your eyes open for Instagram photo contests and product giveaways and during the day.
