Williams Home to Tributes, Raffles, and Support in May
Williams, Arizona is often considered the gateway to the Grand Canyon, and thanks to its location, it’s a hotspot for tourists and locals alike. In May, the town of Williams will be hosting many various events, open to the public and covering a wide spectrum of topics, activities, and people.
On May 21st at 6 in the afternoon, the reforming Williams Women Networking Group will be holding their first meeting of the year, discussing opportunities to show support for women and bring the community together. For more information, you can call (928) 853-0395.
A raffle is also currently underway to usher in Williams’ 4th of July celebration. Enter now to win the toy box on display at 117 W. Route 66 valued at over $500. All proceeds will go to benefiting U.S. veterans in need.
Locals, don’t forget about registration for kindergarten and kindercamp, and visitors, don’t forget about the William’s 2015 Memorial Day Parade coming up on May 23rd. Taking place in historic downtown Williams, the parade will include scores of classic cars, floats, and other vehicles.
