Contest for Will Smith’s Bungee Jump for Charity Over Grand Canyon Enables One Lucky Fan to Be Present

Will Smith, jumping out of a helicopter over the Grand Canyon sounds like a big-screen action scene. However, on September 25th this will be a real event, taking place over the iconic Wonder of the World. Better yet, Smith is holding a contest to benefit Education Cannot Wait, a fund which educates children in emergencies. The winner of this contest will get to be with Smith in person, on the day of the event.

The event will take place on the actor’s fiftieth birthday. This all started back in March of 2018. The YouTube channel, Yes Theory challenged Smith to bungee jump from a helicopter. Of course, Will Smith accepted but on one condition; it would be for charity.

Thus, the epic, movie-plot action scene came to life. To enter the contest, fans must donate at least $10 to omaze.com/will. The contest was announced officially on Tuesday, via Will Smith’s YouTube channel. The deadline for the contest is Sept. 10, 2018, at 11:59pm Pacific Time. The winner of the contest will be announced close to September 21, 2018. Therefore, after entering the contest, ensure the bags are packed and ready to go. With the winner being announced only days before the event, that does not leave a lot of time.

However, it is the chance to meet Will Smith, while he helicopter-bungee jumps over the Grand Canyon, on his birthday. Exceptions can be made.

A Grand Prize of this nature is estimated at $2,500. Yet, to the right fan, a chance like this is priceless. The winner will be able to hang out with Will Smith and his family during Smith’s birthday. They will get to attend the bungee jump session, VIP style. Later they will strike a pose for a birthday picture and Facetime a friend while hanging out with Will Smith. Additionally, airfare and hotel accommodations are included.

For everyone else, the event will be live-streamed on Smith’s YouTube channel, which has amassed over three million subscribers. Westbrook Entertainment (Smith’s production company) and Fly on the Wall are going to collaborate on this project. Therefore, the live-stream is sure to be (almost) as epic as the event itself.
