The Grand Canyon Visitor Center has been awarded the 2016 Certificate of Excellence by TripAdvisor.com. The award acknowledges the consistently excellent reviews posted by members of the public about the visitor center on TripAdvisor.com, one of the top websites for reviewing vacation destinations and booking hotels. TripAdvisor awards these certificates every year to honor hospitality businesses that deliver excellent services to the public.

According to TripAdvisor, 85% of travelers are more likely to book a hotel that has been given a Certificate of Excellence, and 75% of travelers are more likely to visit an attraction that has received such an award. With the award, the travel website company made several benefits available to the visitor center. A special logo can be used in the center’s marketing promotions. A Certificate of Excellence widget, customized for the awardee, can be displayed on websites. The hashtag #CertificateofExcellence can be used to promote the TripAdvisor award on Twitter and other social media sites.
