What type of Lodging is available at Grand Canyon?
Grand Canyon National Park is one of the most awe-inspiring displays of beautiful American wilderness left and understandably, it draws in millions of people annually. No matter what time of year it is, one question is always asked more than any other: Where should I stay for my Grand Canyon vacation?
There is certainly no single answer to this question because, unlike many other National Parks and vacation destinations, there are several equally tempting options, and each provides a different experience. If you prefer to stay within the National Park, you can choose between modern lodges or rustic cabins for a quieter, more authentic experience. Just outside the South Rim Park Entrance in the small community of Tusayan, you can choose from a variety of Hotels and Motels. RV Parks and Campgrounds are also located within the National Park and in Tusayan.
The South Rim of Grand Canyon National Park is open year-round, it’s where the majority of visitors look for Grand Canyon Lodging, and rightfully so. While other Rims certainly have their own distinct advantages, the South Rim has enough guest services to make it the easiest and most convenient place to stay.
