Visitors headed to the Grand Canyon National Park for the upcoming Presidents Day weekend day will get in for free. The popular northern tourist destination along with Zion Nationals Parks will waive the entrance fee.
Visitors who remain at the Grand Canyon beyond February 20 will have to pay the fee for the remainder of their stay. The waiver applies only to entrance fees and doesn’t affect fees for camping, concessions and other activities.
This year, additional entrance fee-free days will occur for the kick off to:
• National Park Week (April 15-16)
• National Park Service Birthday (August 25)
• National Public Lands Day (September 30)
• Veterans Day (November 11-12)
