Kaibab Forest to Close Some Recreation Areas for Winter Season

Celebration of Art Photo Highlights The Grand Canyon National Park and the Grand Canyon Association wrapped up anothr successful Celebration of Art last week. The annual event included six days of art-related activities summed up with a three monthlong exhibition in Kolb Studio on the South Rim. The exhibit opened with a reception on Sept. 21.

Public Transit System between Grand Canyon, Flagstaff and Williams up for Discussion Creating better public transportation between Williams, Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon was the topic of a Sept. 17 transit workshop. About 10 people attended the meeting in the Williams City Council chambers to brainstorm ideas for getting from one place to another.
