The Grand Canyon North Rim of Grand Canyon National Park is set to welcome visitors for the 2024 season starting at 6 a.m. on May 15. Alongside, Grand Canyon Lodge and Grand Canyon Trail Rides will also commence their seasonal operations.
Visitor services, including the campground, Grand Canyon Conservancy bookstore, and the Backcountry Information Office, will open at 8 a.m. Information regarding daily Park Ranger programs will be accessible at the Roaring Springs Overlook Kiosk until October 15. Grand Canyon Lodge North Rim operations, offering lodging, groceries, retail, food and beverage services, shower and laundry facilities, and the gas station, will also open on May 15. The lodge dining room will cater breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with dinner reservations being mandatory. Most commercial services will wrap up their operations for the season on October 15, 2024.
The North Rim will be open for day use until November 30 or until winter conditions set in. The Backcountry Information Office will remain operational through October 31. After Highway 67 closes for the season, access to the North Rim will only be feasible through non-motorized means of travel.
