After its long winter closure, the North Rim of the Grand Canyon is scheduled to reopen on May 15, with the return of all usual visitor services. On that day, the North Rim gate will be opened to the public at 7:30 AM. Other National Park Service business, including the visitor center, will begin operations at 8 AM. Concession operations for lodging, meals, and trail rides will resume at different times on May 15. Unlike the North Rim, the South Rim remains open during winter.
