The National Park Service has announced it is now accepting applications for noncommercial river trip permits. Permits allow holders to raft the Colorado River through Grand Canyon National Park. Permits are for the 2013 season.
The Grand Canyon National Park will be waving park entrance fees for February 14th in honor of Arizona’s centennial. Visitors who arrive on the 14th will get free entrance to the park.
Another journey has come and gone. Those long days of pouring over destination choices, picking a few choice spots, planning office leaves, allocating budget, booking flight or train tickets, making reservations at the hotel, ForEx, packing your luggage, weighing your luggage, etc, are finally over.

The Ribbon Falls Bridge will be out of commission from February 14th until mid march as the Grand Canyon National Park repair crew works on restoring the structure. The bridge’s wooden parts including deck boards and beams have deteriorated and must be repaired for safety reasons.
